Photographers Rights And The Law In The UK
Jul 10th, 2009 | By Realimage | Category: PhotographyMuch is being written and argued at the moment with reference to people having trouble with Police and PCSO’s, and the other jobsworths such as security guards , giving photographers a hard time taking pictures in public places. The law is clear on this subject, any one is free to take pictures anywhere deemed a public place. Images of people taken in a public place although belonging to the photographer the images can not be used for anything other than editorial uses, unless a model release is signed.
A good resource for information regarding this subject can be found here. Another good resource is to be found here with a dowloadable PDF file..
